Can you help me with marketing research?

Our solution provides a mechanism for conducting research. Typically, a random sampling approach is used, however we can also perform stratified or cluster sampling. Many of our clients have used our solution to better understand how their customers benefit from the use of their products or services.

They also test new concept to better understand the viability of deploying new go to market strategies. This helps them better understand the positioning and adds strength to the proforma. Our tool provides real time analytics and reports that can be accessed online 24/7 on a customized campaign dashboard. We setup custom reports to meet your specific requirements.

The survey prospect will be contacted via Email or Mailer and asked to participate in a survey. We can also push them to the survey using the popular social media sites Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

The survey is presented to them on a micro landing site. Upon completion of a survey we can auto trigger emails back to the respondent with additional offers or information based on how they completed the survey and then send them to a corporate website or other relevant sites.

We can also setup auto-responders that send information to business development or sales for immediate follow up (one of the questions might be “do you want to be contacted about blah blah).

Because we utilize the internet, the survey and subsequent experience can be very customized to specific groups of respondents as in the case of stratified sampling, or wanting to know which social media site they came from. Our solution is truly unique as we handle the attraction of survey prospect, the interaction online with the survey respondent that engages in answering the question, and then the analytics and capture of data to provide the all important results.

What is a Personalized URL?

A Personalized URL is a person’s name in conjunction with a URL, i.e. johnsmith.benoticedtoday.com. This Personalized URL takes them to the Personalized Website Landing Page that corresponds to the creative of the direct mail piece they received.

What is a Landing Page?

A Landing Page is a special type of web page that allows your prospects to respond to direct mail. When you include a Landing Page, your prospects have a convenient online alternative to traditional response methods such as call centers and business reply cards.

How do my prospects access my Landing Page?

Your prospects access the Landing Page by entering a customer specific Personalized URL (johnsmith.benoticedtoday.com) provided on the personalized mail piece.

How do Landing Pages work?

Landing Pages work in many different ways. For instance:

  1. A direct mail piece invites the prospect to visit their Personalized Landing Page.
  2. The Landing Page encourages the prospect to register or find out more information about the offer, product, or service.
  3. The Questionnaire Page then captures information relative to your specific campaign. Based on the prospect's answers, a lead will be distributed to the appropriate interaction center for a follow-up call.
  4. The Registration Page goes on to capture and/or confirm profile information about the prospect (e.g., address, phone, email).
  5. Concluding with a Thank You Page which is then displayed to the prospect where more information about your product or service is available (e.g. white papers, online product demonstrations, coupon offer, free offer, etc).

Each step of the process is carefully tracked in order to monitor the response rate of the channel, the click-through rate of the questionnaire and the conversion rate of the leads.

When my prospects arrive at the Landing Page, what do they see?

When your prospects arrive at a campaign Landing Page, they will see a page that incorporates your brand identifiers, your campaign creative, and offer-specific messaging.

When prospects visit your Landing Page, they can:

  • See details on your product or offer;
  • Enter or confirm contact information;
  • Request more information;
  • Make a purchase; and
  • Sign up for additional offers, email notices, or newsletters.

How does a Landing Page increase the effectiveness of my traditional direct marketing?

The benefits of a Landing Page are numerous. For example, a Landing Page in conjunction with a direct mail campaign now makes it possible to quickly generate sales leads for a new product launch. As prospects receive the direct mail piece, they can conveniently respond to the offer online.

How secure is the Personalized URL, Landing Page, or Microsite?

Our Clients want to ensure that the data displayed on (or entered into) a Landing Page or Microsite URL is safe. With very little effort, these aspects of the system can be as secure as any e-commerce system on the internet.

The first layer of security is known as Secure Socket Layer or SSL. Respondents to a Landing Page are automatically directed to an SSL-enabled version of the Landing Page. The respondent will know they have hit a secure page because the URL displayed in the browser’s address bar will now read https: ("s" for secure), and in most browsers an icon that looks like a padlock will be displayed.

How does SSL work?

When a Landing Page or Microsite is SSL-enabled, the respondent’s browser checks to ensure that the site connected to is a "real" site, and not someone intercepting the connection. This is done by checking the site’s secure certificate.

Then, the browser determines the encryption types that the browser and web site server can both use to understand each other. The browser and server then send each other unique codes (also known as a key) to use when encrypting the information that will be sent.

At this point, the browser and server can be speaking to each other using the encryption, and the web browser shows the encryption icon (usually a padlock), and pages are processed securely.

The system uses industry standard 128 and 256 bit high grade encryption. The level of security used during the respondent’s visit is determined by the respondent’s browser. What does this really mean? Let’s put it in terms that are easier to understand: If every person in the world had 10 computers trying to crack the combination and each computer could try 10 billion combinations per second, then it would take 77,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 years to crack one personalized URL.

Our data centers are SAS-70 Type II (the Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70) compliant. This is a set of industry standards that among other things, ensures that certain security controls are in place to protect data. These standards are audited by independent party to ensure compliance. While many marketing professionals may not be familiar with SAS-70 certification, you can assume that their IT counterparts will be.

Can I require a password for further security?

Yes the system can also be configured to require a password to be entered on the welcome page. This password can help protect any information that has been uploaded to the system including contact information that might pre-populate in the profile page.
